Material examined. 1 ♀, labeled ‘ SUMATRA: Jambi, Mt. Kerinci , 1750–1850 m, 11–12.xi.1989, Agosti, Löbl, Burckhardt #11 / Horniella sp. 10, ♀, det. Z.-W. Yin, 2014’ ( MHNG).
Measurements. Female ( Fig. 51 View FIGURE 51 D). BL 3.10 mm, HL 0.70 mm, HW 0.59 mm, PL 0.67 mm, PW 0.65 mm, EL 0.74 mm, EW 1.23 mm, AL 0.99 mm, AW 1.22 mm. Each eye composed of about 45 facets.
Distribution. Indonesia: West Sumatra ( Map 7 View MAP 7 ).
Remarks. This female belongs to the H. hirtella species group. The longitudinal ridges mesal to the elytral discal striae, the form of genital complex ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 J), and its distribution indicates a distinctive species.
