Material examined. 23 females and 2 males, from Vitex lucens (Verbenaceae) , Morrin Road , St. Johns, Auckland, New Zealand, 7 December 2007, coll. S.J. Bennett. Specimens deposited in PANZ .

Additional plant material of Vitex lucens with domatia leaf galls were collected by N.A. Martin and deposited in NZAC: Little Muddy Creek , Waitakere Ranges, Auckland, New Zealand, 9 May 1999 ; Okura walkway, Auckland, New Zealand, 16 December 2000 ; Massey Track, Hunua Ranges, Auckland, New Zealand, 27 December 2000 ; Wenderholm Auckland, New Zealand, 27 October 2002 .

Host. Vitex lucens (Verbenaceae) .

Relation to host. Swollen domatia leaf galls.

Distribution. The Bay of Plenty (Tauranga), Whangarei (Lady Alice Island), Auckland.
