Material examined. 9 females, from Calystegia sepium (Convolvulaceae) , Whangapoua Estuary, Great Bar- rier Is., ( NZMS 260/S08: 286586), New Zealand, 28 January 2002, coll. R.E. Beever. Specimens deposited in NZAC.

Host. Calystegia sepium , C. soldanella , C. tuguriorum , Convolvulus sp. (Convolvulaceae) .

Relation to host. Leaf pouch galls.

Distribution. Auckland, Coromandel, Wellington, Marlborough Sounds, Nelson, North Canterbury, Mid- Canterbury.
