Relation to host. Causing scarring and formation of pimple-like protrusions on both leaf surface.

Dsitribution. New Zealand (Auckland).

Remarks. Amrine (1996) and Amrine et al. (2003) assigned Parulops as a synonym of Aculus . Manson (1984a) distinguished Parulops from Aculus mainly by the apical rays of the empodium arise from the base of the second rays rather than from the main stem.
