Comments
Closely related to the typespecies M. biroi ( Redtenbacher, 1908) but ΨΨ are easily distinguished by the unarmed mesopleurae and less rounded lateral margins of the abdominal tergites II–VII. ΨΨ differ from M. oreitrephes ( Günther, 1929) by the more elongate and slender body, prominently elevated and rounded mesopleurae and sparsely dentate dorsal carinae of the meso and metafemora. Body lengths of ΨΨ 190.5–236.5 mm (205.5–268.0 mm including the subgenital plate). ɗɗ and eggs unknown.
