Regional records: Iraq: Salman & Jabbar 1990; Kuwait: this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /019); Saudi Arabia: Manokaran et al. 2021.

Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Failaka Island, Auha Island; occasional (18%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, mud, rocks, sponges, and Sargassum spp.
