Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Al-Aushairij, Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; occasional (15%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, pebble, sponges, and ropes.
