Local distribution and occurrence: Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Auha Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; occasional (19%).

Habitat: Intertidal zone; sand, rocks, dead corals, pebble, shells, Sargassum spp. , other algae, and ropes.
