Distribution in Iran. Fars, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Sistan & Baluchestan ( Modarres Awal 1997), Hormozgan ( Modarres Awal 1997; Nadjafi Tireh Shabankareh 2003 as P. acaciae ), Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad ( Mozafari et al. 2008 as P. acaciae ).

General distribution. Egypt, Hungary, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Yemen.

Host records. Acacia tortilis (Forssk.) (Fabaceae) ( Nadjafi Tireh Shabankareh 2003), Prangos uloptera DC. ( Apiaceae ) and Egyptian acacia (Fabaceae) ( Modarres Awal 1997), Prangos ferulacea (L.) ( Mozafari et al. 2008 as P. acaciae ).
