( Figs. 56–64 View FIGURES 56–64 )
Examined material: 211 egg-larvae from female captured near Naujoji Vilnia, Vilnius district, N54.70365, E25.40598, 8 VIII 2011, eggs were laid on 10 VIII 2011, egg-larvae hatched on 23 VIII 2011; 2 egg-larvae from female captured in Vilnius district, N54.70365, E25.40598, 20 VIII 2013 GoogleMaps , eggs were laid on 21 VIII 2013, egglarvae hatched on 31 VIII 2013; 24 egg-larvae from female captured in Vilnius district, N54.68194, E25.27087, 28- VIII-2013 GoogleMaps , eggs were laid on 29 VIII 2013, egg-larvae hatched on 0 7 IX 2013.
First instar larva. Length 2.48–2.52 mm, width 0.46–0.48 mm. Body covered with pale microscopic hairs. Cuticle transparent.
Head capsule. Length 0.36–0.37 mm, width 0.22–0.23 mm. In general, very similar to that of T. (L.) vernalis and other above mentioned species. Differences were noticed in shape of hypostomium, mandible, antenna and arrangement of sensory structures on labrum and antennae. Hypostomium bears five sharp long teeth and shape of teeth differ from that of T. (L.) vernalis and other above mentioned species ( Fig. 56 View FIGURES 56–64 ). Mandible generally very similar to that of T. (L.) vernalis and other above mentioned species, but shape and size of teeth slightly different ( Fig. 57 View FIGURES 56–64 ). Shape of antennal segment, size of sensory seta and size of apical papilla differ from that of T. (L.) vernalis and other above mentioned species ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 56–64 ). Labrum in general very similar to that of other known Tipula , but arrangement of setae differs from other above mentioned species: one medium long and one long setae present on membranous part on both sides of labrum ( Fig. 59 View FIGURES 56–64 ). Four medium long setae located on anterior part of labrum, three short setae present on anteriolateral part of labral lobe, one long and one very short seta located on posterior part of labral lobe. Arrangement of setae on frontoclypeus is slightly different from other known Tipula ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 56–64 ).
Thorax. Very similar to that of other known Tipula .
Abdomen. In general very similar to that of other known Tipula . Setae D1, D2 and D5 the shortest ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 56–64 ). D3, D4 and D6 twice as long as D1, D2 and D5. D2–D3 and D5–D6 very close to each other. V1 absent ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 56–64 ). V5 the shortest. V3 just slightly longer than V5. V2 almost three times as long as V5. V4 the longest and four times as long as V5. V4–V5 make pair and are very close to each other. L2 and L4 very short. L3 the longest and five times as long as L2 and L4. Seta L1 branched into two equal parts and three times as long as L2 and L4 ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 56–64 ).
Spiracular disc. Spiracular field surrounded by four almost equal round-tipped lobes, which are flat and elongate ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 56–64 ). Lateral lobe more prominent, as long as wide at the base, partly (inner part) covered with dark elongated wedge-shaped sclerite, which extends almost to the center of spiracle. The inner part of sclerite much darker than outer part. Lobe bears ten stout long apical bristles. Each bristle slightly more than three times as long as the lobe. Length of ventral lobe almost as width at the base, lobe entirely covered with pale sclerite. Two very long setae located at the apex of lobe, tuft of two medium in length setae located laterally from them on both sides. Two short setae present on outer margin (close to the tuft of setae). Laterally to them one medium long seta. Four dark elongated, triangular in shape sclerites and four tufts (above these sclerites) of different in length setae located above the each spiracle. The innermost tuft consists of three long setae. Laterally from it, tuft of four long setae. Laterally from them located two tufts of two medium in length setae. Spiracles large, circular and close to each other. Distance between them almost equal to the diameter of a spiracle.
Anal field. Anus surrounded by four white and fleshy anal papillae. Posterior pair longer than anterior pair.
