Synonyms in Iranian literatures. Apterencyrtus microphagus (Mayr, 1876) , Chiloneurus microphagus Mayr, 1876 , Chiloneurinus microphagus (Mayr, 1876) ( Chodjai 1989; Radjabi 1989; Modarres Awal, 1997).
Host associations in Iran. Lepidosaphes malicola on rosaceous fruit trees ( Chodjai 1989; Radjabi 1989; Modarres Awal 1997), Tecaspis asiatica [ Chlidaspis asiatica ] on rosaceous fruit trees (Radjabi, 1989); Lepidosaphes pistaciae on Pistacia vera ( Mansouri 2005) , Lepidosaphes sp. on Plum ( Lotfalizadeh 2010b), Lecanium nigrofasciatum [ Mesolecanium nigrofasciatum )] ( Ghahari et al. 2010).
Distribution in Iran. Tehran ( Chodjai 1989; Modarres Awal 1997), Chaharmahal & Bakhtiyari, Isfahan, Fars, Markazi, Tehran, Semnan (Radjabi 1989; Modarres Awal 1997), Isfahan ( Mansouri 2005), Lorestan ( Lotfalizadeh 2010b) Guilan ( Ghahari et al. 2010).
General distribution. Cosmopolitan.
