Material examined: Japan: 1 , 1 [both brachypterous], Hokkaido, Kaihatsu-cho-minami , 15 m, 25. VII .1991, leg. Smetana [J7] ( CNC, cAss); 1 , Honshu, Toshigi Pref., Nikko National Park , Senjogahara , 1400 m, 15. VII .1980, leg. A. & Z. Smetana ( CNC).
Comment: This widespread wing-dimorphic species was previously known from numerous localities in China and one (Senjogahara) in Honshu ( ASSING 2013f). The above specimens from Hokkaido represent a new island record.
