Perenne , glabrescente o, más rara vez, glabra . Hojas basales indivisas o lirado-pinnatífidas, pecioladas. Pedicelos a veces subglabrescentes. Frutos 4-7 × 2,5-5 mm, suborbiculares. Semillas 2,5 mm.
Pastos pedregosos, generalmente en las montañas; 500-2500 m. V-VII. Alpes, Pirineos y Península Ibérica . Montañas del N, E y SE de la Península Ibérica . (And.). Esp.: Ab Bu CR Gr (Gu) Hu J L Le Or (Po) S Sa So Te Za.
