DISTRIBUTION. — Argentina: Buenos Aires (Baradero, Chacabuco, Lomas,Tigre), Mendoza (Potrerillo), Santiago del Estero. Bolivia, Brazil.

REMARKS
Gargaphia penningtoni Drake, 1928 View in CoL was recently synonimized with G.subpilosa ( Montemayor & Dellapé 2010) View in CoL . Thus, the distribution of G. subpilosa View in CoL is extended to Buenos Aires (La Plata), Misiones (San Ignacio) and Paraguay. In addition, host plants now include Abutilum spp. ( Drake & Hambleton 1934: 450; Monte 1938b: 388; Monte 1940d: 100; Drake & Ruhoff 1965: 231); Acalypha sp. Gargaphia subpilosa View in CoL is exclusively distributed in Southern South America. This species has a wide distribution in Argentina, which is here extended to Jujuy and Salta.
