Ⅰ. The fischeri View in CoL species group
Diagnostic characters. Vertex with fine and dense punctures; pronotal basal fovea each side composed of two grooves, outer groove very short and fused to the inner one; pronotum near cordate, usually with only one midlateral seta (rarely with two setae) and one basolateral seta; outer surface of metatarsomere I more evidently ridged occupying the basal three-fourth of its length or more; in lateral view, the apical lamella of aedeagus regularly curved ventrally.
Geographical notes. This species group contains seven species. All species of this group are distributed in west-central China ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 ). The range of the fischeri -group, although largely overlapping, is more northern than that of the vignai -group. Species of the fischeri -group have been recorded from five provinces (Sichuan, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Gansu and Henan) and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
