Type material. Holotype: Male (IZCAS-Ar39678), Dengxintang Village (22°05.330′N, 111°35.891′E, elevation 83 m), Tanshui Town, Yangchun, Guangdong, China, 27–28 April 2018, Z. Chen and J. Liu leg. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 2 females (IZCAS-Ar39679–Ar39680), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality and is a noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. This species can be easily distinguished from all known congeners by combination of following characters: presence of two long curved apophyses on procursus (arrows in Fig. 15C View FIGURE 15 ) and pair of distinct long sclerites between pore plates on vulva (arrow in Fig. 16B View FIGURE 16 ).

Description. Male (holotype): Total length 2.48 (2.56 with clypeus), carapace 0.89 long, 1.08 wide, opisthosoma 1.59 long, 1.06 wide. Leg I: missing, leg II: 17.75 (4.83 + 0.48 + 4.33 + 6.41 + 1.70), leg III: 13.42 (3.88 + 0.43 + 3.22 + 4.70 + 1.19), leg IV: missing. Habitus as in Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with black margins and narrow, yellowish median line; sternum black. Legs brownish, but slightly whitish on distal parts of femora and tibiae, with distinct darker rings on subdistal parts of femora and on proximal and subdistal parts of tibiae. Opisthosoma yellowish, with large black spots. Distance PME-PME 0.14, diameter PME 0.15, distance PME-ALE 0.04, AME absent. Ocular area slightly elevated and separated from rest of carapace. Thoracic furrow shallow, but distinct. Clypeus unmodified. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.62/0.59). Chelicerae ( Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 C–D) with pair of small proximo-ectal apophyses, pair of small distal apophyses on ectal surface, pair of frontal apophyses (arrows in Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 C–D), and pair of long, hooked frontal apophyses (distance between tips: 0.24) provided with scales each. Pedipalps as in Figs 15 View FIGURE 15 A–D; trochanter with short retrolateral apophysis and small ventral apophysis; femur with retrolateral apophysis; patella large; procursus simple, with only two long curved apophyses distally ( Figs 15 View FIGURE 15 C–D); bulb simple, no other projections except for embolus. Legs with short vertical setae on metatarsi and tarsi, without spines and curved setae.

Female (IZCAS-Ar39679): Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 G–H. Total length 2.84 (2.97 with clypeus), carapace 1.03 long, 1.17 wide, opisthosoma 1.81 long, 1.33 wide. Leg I: – (6.68 + 0.49 + 6.84 + 10.95 + –), leg II: 17.67 (4.84 + 0.48 + 4.25 + 6.32 + 1.78), leg III: 13.29 (3.83 + 0.45 + 3.14 + 4.69 + 1.18), leg IV 17.25 (5.03 + 0.47 + 4.15 + 6.47 + 1.13); tibia I L/d: 55. Retrolateral trichobothria of tibia I at 10% proximally. Distance PME-PME 0.13, diameter PME 0.17, distance PME-ALE 0.03. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.65/0.60). Epigynum ( Fig. 16A View FIGURE 16 ) brown. Vulva ( Fig. 16B View FIGURE 16 ) with slightly curved anterior arch, pair of large nearly kidney-shaped pore plates and pair of distinct long sclerites between pore plates (arrow in Fig. 16B View FIGURE 16 ).

Variation: Unknown. Leg I missing in another female paratype (IZCAS-Ar39680).

Natural History. The species was found on its irregular web between rocks.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, type locality; Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 ).
