Diagnosis. recognised among other Cephagonus by the following combination of characters: males sixth ventrite strongly narrowed mediallyı with strong basal groove throughout its extension ( Figure 8 View Figure 8 (c)); female sixth ventrite with ‘ U ’ -shape emargination at medial portion ( Figure 8 View Figure 8 (d)); metasternum with irregular surface between punctures ( Figure 6 View Figure 6 (a)) and clypeo-genal angle obtuse (over 110³) as in D. fissus and D. spadiceus groupsı however very small males and females have very subtle angulation or do not have any angulation at all.
