Type-locality: Aphyosemion exigoideum – “ Small rainforest creek near Mandilou, western Gabon, elevation 70 meters”. Holotype:
NMW 90745 (1 of 2). Paratypes: MNHN 1978-0410 [or 0140� (4), MRAC (2), MZUV (8), NMW 90745 (1 of 2).
