Distribution and remarks: East central Atlantic: known from the seven known specimens from Cameroon (2), Fernando Poo (1), and Banane, Democratic Republic of the Congo (4). Also reported from the Chiloango River in Cabinda ( Angola). Observed during scientific dives in Port-Gentil (De Bruyne, pers. obs.).
