Type species Deraiophorus adriaticus Hirschmann & Zirngiebl-Nicol, 1972a: 15 , by original designation.

Notes. Schuster (1962) used the name " Dentibaiulus adriaticus (mihi, i. litt.)", but the descriptions of this genus and species were apparently never published. Hirschmann & Zirngiebl-Nicol (1972a) listed the name Dentibaiulus adriaticus Schuster, 1962 as a nomen nudum, and described Schuster's species as Deriaophorus adriaticus Hirschmann & Zirngiebl-Nicol, 1972. Hirschmann (1979b) then made the name Dentibaiulus available for the first time.
