Group postica Moore View in CoL
On the upperside of the forewing in this species group, the crescent patch below apex is absent; the postmedial line is oblique and almost straight from the costa before apex to the middle of the inner margin; the submarginal line is bordered with an interrupted silver line; the white discal and posterodistal spots are present. The broad antemedial line, narrow postmedial line and white posterodistal spot ringed with dark yellow are present on the upperside of the hind wing. In the male genitalia, the uncus is deeply bifurcate and often forms two digitiform branches; the socii are very small; the anellus is not developed; the valva is broad and short; the aedeagus is slender. In the female, the dorsal lobes of the ostial segment are small. Watson (1957) provisionally put his new species T. rectifascia ( Philippines) , which has long and slender socii and valva, in this species group. According to its male genitalic features, this species should be moved to the crocea species group.
