Group sadana Moore View in CoL
In this species group, the brown discal and mid-cell spots, the white posterodistal spot ringed with brown are present on the upperside of the forewing; two round brown patches often with a dark ovate spot inside are near the lower angle of the cell. A patch near the lower angle of the cell and a patch between M 3 and CuA 1 are present on the upperside of the hind wing. In the male, the eighth tergite is nearly trapezoidal; the eighth sternite is small, often triangular or semicircular; the uncus is very broad, slightly bifurcate or shallowly concave to form two semicircular or quadrate lobes; the socii are digitiform; the anellus is not developed; the valva is short, thick and digitate; the aedeagus is stout; the cornutus is a fascicle of strong spines. In the female, the dorsal lobes of the ostial segment are often broad and round.
