Species Callimico goeldii (Thomas 1904)

Discussion: Placed in a separate family, Callimiconidae , by Hershkovitz (1977), but recognized as a member of the Callitrichidae (= Hapalidae ) by Pocock (1920 a), Napier (1976), and Groves (1989); McKenna and Bell (1997) placed it in a separate subfamily, Callimiconinae, of their family Callitrichidae .
