Malawidopsis spec. H gen. et sp. nov.

Abbreviated description: Cp sub-triangular, female slightly higher than male, with RV strongly overlapping LV along the anterior margin and the postero-caudal edge, where the Cp is gaping. Valve surface slightly pitted in the centre, but set with a few dozen stiff and large spines.

Measurements: length of female = 595 µm; length of male = 582 µm.

Locality: Metangula , Mozambique at 7 m depth (21/3/1999) .
