Material: 1 specimen in total. Anda4 (1) RGM 962126.

The depicted otolith (OL:OH= 0.77) is identical to the recent V. tripunctulatus . It is of interest to note the presence of boring sponge channels as decalcified areas in the light microscopic picture of the specimen, while the SEM only shows the entry/exit holes of the sponge channels (Figure 21a,b).
