This species is a predator of scale insects ( Martin 1972; Montaigne and Maouloud 1981; Abu-Thuraya 1982).

Local distribution.

It has been recorded in Riyadh and was previously reported by Abu-Thuraya (1982) and listed by Martin (1972).
