The name refers to this being close to, but not being, C. depressus .
Male. Postpedicel slightly longer than its greatest breadth. Left side of epandrium as Fig. 106 View FIGURES 106–108 , right side of epandrium and right gonopod as Fig. 107 View FIGURES 106–108 and left gonopod and hypandrium as Fig. 108 View FIGURES 106–108 . Wing 1.0– 1.3 mm long. Costal index 0.59–0.66. Vein 3 with a terminal vesicle but tip of costa extends a little beyond its tip. Distal half, or more, of mid tibia is white.
