The male has the head and abdomen black and shining ; the thorax biood-red ; the inner margin of the eyes notched ; the vertex strongly punctate-striate. The thorax strongly punctured ; the metathorax with larger and more distant punctures ; the tegulae red ; the wings fuscohyaline . Abdomen rather distantly punctured ; the apical margin of the second and third segments thickly fringed with white pubescence ; the following segments fringed with black.

Hab. Makassar.

The sexes of this species were taken in coitu.
