Description.

Stems 30-120 cm high. Fruit strongly falcate, 17-22 × 5-6 cm. Seeds 12.5 × 9 cm.

Distribution.

Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola.

Habitat and ecology.

Woodland on Kalahari sand; ca. 900 m alt.
