Remarks: It is characterized by a slender and compressed test which is ornamented with a few longitudinal costae. Stratigraphic distribution: It was originally described from the Cretaceous of northern Germany (CUSHMAN, 1946), while SAID & KENAWY (1956) recorded this species in the Danian. It is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene zones of the Esh El Mallaha area.
