Material examined. AFGHANISTAN: Khazaradzhat, Sochan pass, 3500 m, 2.8.1968, 1♂ (Holotype), 1♀ (Paratype) (leg. Stolyarov) ( ZIN) .

Remarks. This distinct species is very small like E. granulosa rufipes Uvarov. But it is a member of E. afghana species group by the length of tegmina and the hind leg coloration.
