Material examined. TURKEY: [Niğde], Cappadoc., Ovadjyk [ Ovacık Köyü ], 1904, 1♂ (Holotype of Glyphotmethis holtzi extimus ), 1♀ (Alllotype of Glyphotmethis holtzi extimus ) (leg. M. Holtz) ( ZIN) ; S. Anatolien, [Niğde], Ulukischla , 14-1600 m, 17, 22.7.1937, 1♂, 1♀ (leg. et det. Ramme) ( ZIN) ; Asia Min., Bozanti [ Pozantı ], 4.8.1906, 1♂ (leg. Lendl) ( MNCN) .

Remarks. Glyphotmethis holtzi extimus Bey-Bienko, 1951 was synonymized with the nominotypical subspecies ( Ünal 2007a: 13). I have now studied the holotype and allotype of Glyphotmethis holtzi extimus for the first time and I confirm the synonymy of this taxon.
