Type locality. Iran, Zandjan. Holotype: female ( ZIN).

Material examined. IRAN: Zandjan, 6.1954, 1♀ (Holotype) (leg. Alai) ( ZIN) . Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Zanjan province of Iran ( Fig. 843 View FIGURE 843 ). Remarks. Because of the characters of the female shared with N. borumandi Mirzayans , this species is included in the genus Neoparanothrotes Mirzayans (see key to genera). Of course the male is needed for exact determination.
