Type locality. W. Iran, [Ilam], Farahan. Holotype: male (ZIN).

Material examined. IRAN: Persia, Farahan , 1931, 1♂ (Holotype) (Predtetshensky) ; Irak, Khodsib , Adasei, 8.5.1904, 1♀ (Paratype) (leg. Zarudny); Asterabad, 4 – 6.7.1903, 1♀ (Paratype) (leg. Zarudny) (ZIN); Persien, 1891, 1♀ (leg. Strauss) ( NMW) .

Distribution. Iran: Ilam Province, Farahan, Asterabad, Khodsib, Tehran province: Varamin, Evin.

Remarks. Both one male and one female were labelled as holotype in the ZIN, but Mistshenko ( Bey-Bienko & Mistshenko, 1951: 364) specified the type locality as Faragan, the male’s locality. So, the male is the holotype of this species.

Mirzayans (1998: 23) records from Tehran Province should be confirmed.
