Type species: Tuberfemurus laminatus Zheng, 1992 .
Diagnosis. Deng & Lu (2019) provided a detailed redescription of the genus. The genus Tuberfemurus can be easily recognized from other genera within Cladonotinae by: 1) median carina of pronotum strongly elevated and lamellate, in profile arch-like; 2) hind femur with upper and lower carinae gently serrate, lower outer carinae with 2–3 projections, upper side with a series of thick tubercles; 3) tegmen and alae absent.
Distribution. The genus Tuberfemurus now contains six species (including the new species), which are distributed in Oriental region, five species in China and one in Thailand.
