Name.

English: yellow jasmine.

Range.

Himalayas of western China. In Myanmar, found in Shan.

Use.

Root: Used to treat skin diseases such as ringworm.

Note.

In India the milky juice from the whole plant is given to destroy the unhealthy lining-walls of chronic fistulas and sinuses; the flower is employed as an astringent and tonic for bowels and heart; and the root is used for ringworm ( Jain and DeFilipps 1991).
