Original description. Playfair 1917, P. 658, Table 38, Fig. 20.
Description. Shell small, subsquare (length equal to width), lateral sides almost vertical and parallel, base of fundus rounded. Shell smooth, firm, chitinoid, structureless, without xenosoms. Aperture circular, its diameter being almost equal to maximum shell width.
Measurements. Shell length 10–22 µm, shell width 10–20 µm, aperture diameter—6–7 µm. Habitat. Water vegetation, wet mosses on rocks.
Geographical distribution. Cosmopolitan.
