Description. Shell small, with length only slightly exceeding width, almost cylindrical, with broad aperture occupying almost entire lower side of the shell, shell surface covered by rare sand grains. Measurements. Shell length 13–17 µm, shell width 12–15 µm, aperture diameter 8–11 µm. Habitat. In thickets of Typha in waterbodies.
Geographical distribution. Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Spitsbergen, Vietnam.
