Type Locality: Cameroon, "Lager III, 1800m, Manenguba-See, Bamenda-Hochland".
Vernacular Names: Manenguba Shrew.
Distribution: Bamenda, Adamaoua, and Yaounde highlands, Cameroon.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Resembles C. littoralis and C. maurisca morphologically; see Hutterer (1994) and Goodman et al. (2001 a).
