Metaborborus flavior ssp. flavior (Vanschuytbroeck, 1948) . Distr.: Afrotropical: Tanzania, Zaire. Note. PAPP (2003: 79) ascribed Oriental specimens to a new subspecies (see below), so only Afrotropical records deal with the nominal subspecies.
