Parasclerocoelus mediospinosus ( Duda, 1925) . Distr.: Afrotropical: South Africa;Australasi- an / Oceanian: Australia, New Zealand; Neotropical: Argentina, Chile, Juan Fernández Is. ( Chile); South Atlantic: Tristan da Cunha.

Leptocera (Scotophilella) mediospinosa Duda, 1925: 182 View in CoL [both sexes, illustr.]. Type locality: Chile, Santiago. LT male, designated by MARSHALL & DONG (2008): 229 (SMTD). – ROHÁČEK et al. (2001): 290 [as unplaced species of Limosininae View in CoL ; world catalog]; PAPP (2008b): 177, 179 [notes on female syntypes, postabdomen illustr.].
