Material examined. TURKEY: Ş anlıurfa: 3, Siverek, Güvercin village, 820 m, 37˚51’54”N, 39˚17’41”E, 11.IV.2008, leg. Yaġmur (cAnl).
Comment. The species was described based on a single female from Iran ( Coiffait 1972). The male characters of this species were illustrated by Assing (2008).
Distribution and bionomics. Tetartopeus persicus is here recorded from Turkey for the first time. The specimen was found in moist grassland under calcareous stones at an altitude of 820 m.
