Distribution. Europe; first record for Ukraine.
Taxonomical remark. This species differs from Mesochorus discitergus by the following characters: mesopleuron usually reddish or yellowish, with dense coarse punctures; 2 nd tergite blackish, with large triangular apical yellow spot; apical tergites usually yellowish, with weak brownish spots; face yellowish.
