121. Ixodes laridis Heath and Palma, 2017 .
An Australasian species whose adults have mostly been collected from Charadriiformes : Laridae , while most larvae and nymphs have been found on Laridae and on Suliformes : Sulidae . All parasitic stages have been recovered from Charadriiformes : Laridae , Pelecaniformes : Threskiornithidae , Procellariiformes : Diomedeidae , and Suliformes : Phalacrocoracidae and Sulidae ; adults and nymphs have been collected from Strigiformes : Tytonidae ; nymphs alone have been taken from Procellariiformes : Procellariidae ( Heath & Palma 2017) . There are no records of Ixodes laridis causing human parasitism.
