An Australasian species, all of whose parasitic stages, including the undescribed nymph, have been found on Diprotodontia : Phalangeridae ; adults alone have been collected from Artiodactyla : Bovidae , Perissodactyla : Equidae , and Caprimulgiformes: Aegothelidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis bremneri causing human parasitism.
