Note: Camicas et al. (1998) state that Hyalomma kumari is an Oriental species, but Guglielmone et al. (2014) note that it has also been found in the Palearctic Region. Chaudhuri (1970) redescribed all parasitic stages of Hyalomma kumari , but Apanaskevich and Horak (2009) believe that the hosts and the identity of Chaudhuri’s larvae and nymphs need verification, and his redescriptions have therefore been excluded from the above list.
