Male Body small, medium size for the tribe Meconematini . Fastigium frontis moderately inclined, fastigium verticis conical, apex obtusely rounded with a longitudinal sulcus on disc. Eyes oval, prominent anteriorly and externally. Apical segment of maxillary palpi longer than subapical one, apex slightly swollen.
Pronotum short, anterior and median transversal sulci indistinct, posterior transversal sulcus distinct; anterior margin moderately straight, posterior margin obtusely rounded; lateral lobe of pronotum long and high equal; humeral sinus shallow. Thoracic auditory spiracle comparatively large, oval.
All femora without spines on ventral surface. Forecoxa with a spine, foretibiae with 5 long spines and 6 long spines on inner and outer sides of ventral surface separately (including one pair of apical spines); tibial tympana open on both sides, elliptical. Mesotibiae with 5 long spines and 6 long spines on internal side and external side of ventral surface separately. Posttibiae with 26–29 spines on inner and outer sides of dorsal surface separately, bearing one pair of dorsal apical spurs and two pairs of ventral apical spurs.
Tegmina longer, surpassing apices of postfemora, anterior and posterior margins parallel, apices obtusely rounded; hind wings longer than tegmina.
Tenth abdominal tergite broader, the centre of posterior margin with one pair of long and depressed hind processes, directed dorso-caudally, apices rounded. Cerci with basal area robust, cylindric; apical half depressed, tumid dorsally, curved dorso-caudally, apices rounded. Subgenital plate with basal area slightly broader, tapering, posterior margin shallowly concave, the lateral area protruding. Styli conical, short and stout, apices rounded on apices of both lateral margins of subgenital plate.
Body green. Eyes yellowish brown. Disc of pronotum with a pair of longitudinal lateral black stripes. Spines of foretibiae and mesotibiae brown, genicular lobes of postfemora with a black spot, spines and spurs of posttibiae black, apical half of claws brown.
Female Body slightly larger than male. Dorsal area of ninth abdominal tergite narrower, lateral area elongated caudo-downwards. Tenth abdominal tergite shorter, the centre of posterior margin concave. Cerci conical, basal area slightly thiner, middle area stout, apices thin and subacute. Ovipositor moderately curved dorsally, base stout, tapering, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, apices of dorsal valvulae acute, apices of ventral valvulae hookshaped. Subgenital plate irregularly rectangular, the middle area of lateral margin with a notch, posterior margin shallowly concave; lateral edges and posterior edge raised.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♂11.5–13.0, ♀12.5–14.5; pronotum: ♂3.3–3.5, ♀3.3–3.4; tegmina: ♂16.0–17.5, ♀18.2–19.5; postfemora: ♂9.0–9.2, ♀10.2–10.5; ovipositor: 9.8–10.5.
Discussion. The new species differs from the known species of the genus in: male cerci with basal area robust, cylindrical; apical half depressed, tumid dorsally, curved dorso-caudally, apices rounded; tenth abdominal tergite with a pair of long posterior processes.
Etymology. The name of the new species is derived from male cercus morphology.
