Material examined. 1 male: “ Karnataka, Shimoga, Thirthahalli , 591 m, 13°69’ N, 75°25’ E, 16.vii.2019, leg. R. Naveen ” ( NBAIR) .

Remark. This is a new record from district Shimoga, Karnataka, previously reported from neighbouring district, Kodagu ( Sreedevi et al. 2019).
