Common name: Indomalayan Long-tailed Giant Rat Myanmar name:
Distribution: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. In Myanmar, recorded in Lampi Marine National Park ( Bisi et al. 2019) and possibly distributed in Tanintharyi Region.
Remarks: Balakirev et al. (2013) revealed the absence of proper L. sabanus in continental Indochina, we assumed that the species in Southern Myanmar as L. vociferans . Further taxonomic identification is needed.
