Common name: Little Burmese Field Mouse
Myanmar name:
Distribution: Only occur in the Central area of Myanmar along the Irrawaddy River (Mount Popa is the type locality of this species; Shimada et al. 2010).
Remarks: This species is recognized as distinct species from M. booduga and from all other species of Mus and endemic to Myanmar ( Shimada et al. 2010).
